Good Friday, Easter Sunday.
Hey all. Its Easter Sunday today. No Easter eggs though...*sigh*
Good Friday was quite a fun day. Woke up and went for breakfast with my parents. Then they dropped me off at home. And I just lazed round and did a bit of work till 2 pm when I left the house to go meet Jos and Janel so that we could head off to City Harvest Jurong to meet Shaun for the church play. It was pretty irritating to meet Jos, cuz she told me she would be at Settlers cafe (Clarke Quay) at 2.30pm. I get there, ring her god knows how many times. And she calls back after 10 minutes telling me she is at Park Mall. Great. So I went down to Plza Singapura to meet her. After she finally arrived we waited for Janel cuz she was coming down from Serangoon. So after everyone was gathered, we headed off by MRT to Boon Lay. On the train, Shaun was hurrying me because we were running late. And Jos found it funny to sms to us: "Lol, we are all looking at our handphones. " I replied: "Yea, cuz some is hurrying me because of Someone. ". So it was a near silent trip to Boon Lay MRT station. There, we met Shaun and we took a bus to his church. City Harvest looks more like a business building than a church. They have a friggin' RECEPTION COUNTER. I was like... (O.O). So we went down to the main hall and there the girls were separated cuz girls get to sit on chairs while guys sit on floors. Good sense. Haha, I was sitted beside Shaun and unlike most churches I go to, I felt comfortable there as a first timer due to the number of people and how friendly they were. So I watched the entire thing. Only problem was the camera, because it is kinda hard to focus on the actors when there is a huge screen above them using camera techniques to bring out their expressions. A few faces looked familiar though... So after the sermon, they asked for people to go to the front to recieve the Lord. And to my surprise, they pointed out backsliders. Very few churches do that and it hit me, because I was one of those I guess. Commit, re-commit but never really feeling the relationship with God. So I went forward, and so did Jos. Then we had some refreshments were we met Darice and Julia at the 5th level, they are Shaun's cell group members and it is quite a fun bunch to be with. So after that I headed off to Jurong Point with Jos and Janel to do gift shopping for my friend. And I just ended up buying some stuff from 77th street. It is kind of a habit now...no idea for gifts? 77th Street. And I got my application for a member there too. Haha, now I have a Step up 2 headband to give away...wonder who wants it. Then it was off home.
Saturday was like an aftermath. My whole family woke up at 12 nn. Quite early. My dad woke up at 1 pm. Then we went for lunch followed by my brother's JG class. Then we headed home on our own...and it was kinda the end of the day. And I broke a promise I made within a day. For the first time. *sigh*
Easter Sunday, Jos invited me to her church for Easter Sunday. And it was Breakfast with Jesus at PLMGS. But then the person who invited me, was late. So I just hung round a while and waited till she came. Then we all split off and I sat with the guy's cell. Quiet bunch, other than then poking fun at Samuel Poh. Lionel was laughing his head off when he saw me, I know why... But the experience was interesting. After all that, Jos and I headed to eat lunch and proceeded to PLMC to study. There I got help for math from Vic and Kenneth, lit from Jos, which kinds of covers my entire week's homework. A prove that Mr Mak is a math freak, Kenneth could not figure out the rate of change qns... So I just did Literature till I couldn't stand it and I switched homework with Jos, Lit for Chinese...WOW, brilliant deal. Which took me 20 mins to write more than what she wrote for 2 hours. After that was all over and in between it was an entertaining process of watching what was happening between Poh and Duck. Which was funny even if you didn't have a clue about what is going on. Then after all the commotion, we finally left. And I did something really stupid on the MRT after Jos and I decided to go for dinner at Bugis, I called my dad and told him I was at Potong Pasir. He asked me to alight cuz he was around that area. So I apologized and left. Then we waited for my mum from 6pm - 8pm....while she talked. And when we got home I just rushed homework and it is still not done...*sigh*
Well, back to work I guess. Gotta run. Cya.
