Tame the tempest within me.

"I envision before me a path,
One of laughter and tears.
I know of the trip yet I fear the journey.

I looked and I saw what I wanted.
The desire took over my perception,
The disappointment followed and
I crumbled.

Why does it seem so hard to pursue?
When some things seems just for the taking,
I just can't reach it.
The very jewel of my eyes.

As I move on in the restless road,
I begin to keep memories of good times.
And one after another they showed me,
the very desire I wanted to forget.

Why is it then?
That it is so easy to disown what you have.
Yet, impossibly hard to let go of what you never did?"

A short poem inspired by the things I hold dear around me. (: Unlike the boring me, I do care for those few special things in my life.

I look into the sky and see that one star I could only dream to reach.

Its been a rough patch for me this couple of days. It is really hard to accept the fact that I've been doing nothing but build sandcastles in the air for the past 6 months looking forward to Julia Gabriels. *sigh* Oh well. (: Anyway it has been pretty hectic over these past few days.

Thursday was great and all but nothing really went on...I was on MC. Haha. Stayed at home and did work...-.- Dull life.

Friday, the last day of the first week. It was rather slacked. Had a usual start to school, but I couldn't make it for the morning PM. had PE and after recess it was an A math "test" cuz Mr Mak was gone for 4 periods. Basically his lessons was all just a test with substitute teachers as invigilators as he went to help out at the Math Carnival. Then I had CG dinner meeting. Went to Earls Swensens at Vivocity for dinner. It was fun, with the games and food. We played indian poker...and a few other games. Then we walked round for a bit window shopping. Haha, it was some random man's shop first, Converse, Nike, Gap, Fox, Pull and Bear then a split up...Wei Sheng and I went into Topshop/Topman then everyone met up again at River Island. Shaun wants a new vest, lol... After that we went down and walked into Candy Empire where we just looked at the candies and Ivan bought two bags of cookies. Then we headed home. Darice, Shaun Wei sheng by MRT. Eunice, Ivan and I by bus. Haha, when we got to the bus interchange the drvier of the bus just walked up to the bus and I didn't even have time to say bye. So I smsed to inform them that I was gone. Then I got home, bathed, changed...slumped onto my bed and snoozed.

Saturday! Uncle Jason and Aunt Jessica's Wedding!!!
Woke up at 6am...then I went back to snooze. Then I got yelled awake at 7am by my parents. Cuz we were running late. So I went to freshen up and prep up. After that we headed to my Aunt Gisela's house where the groom was suppose to fetch the bride from. I got tasked with the job of making things a bit more interesting for the groom between him and his bride. Haha, the riddles I put out were...I dunno. But anyway, I think the first gatekeeper question was the most difficult. Haha. It was fun though. Then after all the fun and games I just slacked a lot. Here are a few pictures from the place after the arrival of the groom.

Photobucket
Group shot with my cousins and brother in a cowboy hat. Haha.

Photobucket
My dad looks a bit dazed...nvr sleep enough. -.-''' Always like that.
Photobucket
My Grandma!!! (:
Photobucket
My uncle seems to be really happy about the camera man thing.
Photobucket
The to-be wife and man. Actually alrdy are.
Photobucket
My brother seems bored. The feeling at this point in time is mutual.

So after all that I went home. Everyone got a bit of rest. And I was just chatting and stuff. Then we left for Sentosa at 5pm. Running late again. My dad just drove past the checkpoint without a care, all we heard was: "wedding?" then the go sign. Haha, expressway. So after that we went into the villa. the place was in The Sentosa. I think that's the name of the resort? But it seems weird. It is like going to Pulau Ubin's resort and calling it "THE PULAU UBIN.". Hmm... Anyway, the solemnization started.

Photobucket
So it begins.
Photobucket
The remind me of students. LOL.
Photobucket
Photobucket
Exchange of rings. (:
Photobucket
You'd think this is the :"You may kiss the bride moment.". NAH...unfortunately not.
Photobucket
Sitted again.

So after that, the buffet dinner started at just before 6pm. So everyone tucked in and had their fill of food. Then it was a time of games for the couple's friends, while the younger ones had their new puppy, Daisy, as the center of attention. I was playing fetch with it.

Photobucket
Daisy.
Photobucket
Seems tired. Is the exact opposite.
Photobucket
Chewing on the box that we used to play fetch.
Photobucket
Daisy and I.

Same pic again, heck.

And after all the playing and watching TV. My parents decided to stay over. So my dad and mum went home to get clothes, I went along cuz there was no way I was staying. Then after a detour...I finally got home. And for that night I was home alone. (: FREEDOM. But I just fell asleep.

Today was great. Woke at 8am and snoozed than woke at 10am again. Went for service, and Pastor Tan talked about Manhood. Haha, it does seem that things guys were made to do are the HARDEST things for a guy to accept. LOL. Then Shaun, Julia and I attended CIC. After that I came home...went out for dinner and came home again. Watched TV...I need to do art. ART!!! Anyway, that sorts of concludes my day.

Shoutouts:
Sorry to Eunice, I didn't pangseh you because I needed to be at the arrival of the groom so I couldn't attend 12 disciple with you. Haha, so sad only you go even Shaun didn't go. Sorry to everyone at JG, couldn't make it for lesson. But then again, it is not like I'll be coming every week. ): Good Luck to everyone having O level Chinese Oral exams this week! (: Congratulations again to the newly wed!!!

Yea. I kinda feel shitty and happy at the same time. Haha, O contradictions. Gotta run! Ciaoz.

Midweek Term 3.

(()--------------------<(''<) (>'')>--------------------())
That was random, but it is a pretty cute illustration of yoyo players.

That's not a point anyway. It is Wednesday, 3rd day of Term 3. People would be still recovering from holidays, starting to study and all their tuition start. The class has not matured at all, as usual.

Term started with a pretty slacked day. Just intros back to school, did Chemistry SPA skill 3 and had 1 SS essay for homework.

The next day was pretty much the same. Had English oral after school. The teacher said I did pretty well, just that I use 'cuz' a lot. Slang...oh well. Then I had a game of chess with Wong Chong, went home and slacked.

Today was a tad more interesting. Chinese was totally a joke. Andrew went up to read and he read "国外旅游" as "国外游泳". Haha, oversea swimming? LOL. Anyway, after school I went to meet Jos and Janel for lunch did a bit of math, chemistry and stuff. Then came home. Went to the docs to check my throat infection, got my MC. (: HEHE. But then my mum dropped the bomb on me. Mum:"Umm, I got a problem. Actually it is a really big problem." Me:"What?" Mum:"No money to go for Julia Gabriels this term, so you might not go back." Me:"Whatever la, always like that one" Then my dad yelled at me but my mum claimed that she promised so it is not entirely my fault for being rude. But honestly, it is just rubbish. I hate this shit about not having enough money. I really detest it. But whatever, no JG...I am not fine with it but there's nothing I can do. So what the heck, I'll just go back and tell them I am not coming back for good. I forsee the future, I live in poverty and shall never get what I want. (: My life is a paradise and I will just deal with it with silent detest.

That's about all my rants...yea. Need to go rest. Ciaoz.

Last day before school reopens

Semester 2 is here. So we don't have much time left. *Sigh* Lets just aim for our distinctions and work towards it! Anyway, I am going to just do a quick post.

Thursday
Science Intensive. Tuition. Home. Sulk. Sleep. [I told you it was gonna be short.]

Friday
Science Intensive. Soccer. Competition preparations. Home. Sleep. I got banned from CG cuz of my brother. -.-''' Heard they had an acting game...T.T

Saturday
Woke up pretty late. Then I went to Liat Towers to meet Jialin, Ian, Ke Li and Nicholas for chemistry. Haha, I was late and Nic went:"HA! For the first time I am earlier than you!". Great Nicholas...wonder how many times a year you are ever early. So we did our chemistry notes and Jialin told me that we had to hand up our 5 exam papers for A math...but I did the Preparations for Distinction sets. I have so much to catch up on. Then went down to BPP to meet Aunt Sally. Met her at Subway...then ended up going to Delifrance to find Ailn cuz her friend wanted to order stuff but the staff was not serving them. Got myself a cup of iced latte and did A math. Then went to my cousin Linda's house...back to Macs at BPP then went to Ailn's house and waited for Darice. Then did a bit of A math, went o my uncle's house for dinner. Rested a bit and got a ride home from my uncle. Then I did some stuff on the com and went to bed.

Sunday
Woke up at 6am, went to sleep. Woke up at 7am, went to sleep. Woke up at 10am, and then asked my dad if I could go for service. Got the green light, then my dad went to go fetch Aunt Sally and Ailn...and we headed to church. Then my dad, mum and bro went for breakfast. Went to cafe to wait for the others...saw Shaun doing greeting. Darice met us then Eunice. Service today was a bit different and the atmosphere was definitely different in the hall. Today's message about servanthood really inspired me to just give of myself to my brother. It is definitely beyond the call of duty but he is after all a potential future leader and a future world shaker. Then Ailn, Shaun and I attended CIC. After that we went to JP for Subway...Then I got my haircut and all...bought myself a nice little clip chain thingy for my jacket and a wedding gift for my Aunt Jessica. Haha, the gift is REALLY cute. It is like a midget of a book with quotations about the great stuff about marriage in it. I was going to buy one with the title: A gift of piece...but they were too expensive. then I didn't feel like having dinner after having that foot long Italian BMT, so I headed home. Haha, anyway nothing much happened after that.

*Sigh* I really miss a few of my friends cuz they got grounded. -.- But O levels is definitely important and I don't want to ruin their future over it. Going to be back in Julia Gabriels in 6 Days!!! WOO HOO!!! But prelims start in August 12. 8 weeks. Time to start driving that final lap. And I need to draw more. Ciaoz, going to sleep now.

Closure....not really.

Yo all, this is the last weeks for the June Holidays. Haha, I feel like I didn't really catch up a lot academically but I definitely improved I guess. Hurray for A math revision, I am so pro now I can probably totally own a Pri 6 kid in A math. ._. Like...WOW. Anyway, its been rather productive as a secondary school holiday for me. Going to study more.

For the past few days it has been Science intensive. Chemistry, Physics and A math...vicious cycle. Causing me to exhaust myself beyond hope. Alex Lee has been pretty cool about it all, so our "mock papers" are like slacked. No need for complete silence, in fact we just chatter and chatter and chatter. Ashley and the others were doing Physics and playing cards...how pro is that? Haha. And currently Alex is preparing the Semester 2 notes for his Sec 3 classes. And we are like his "slaves". Do the filing and sorting during our breaks. Here's a pic of how much work was done with Frederick, one of the many cheap laborers.

Photobucket
What a long row...lol

Anyway, it was pretty cool and we have been doing that since Monday. Now the project is at its final stages and ending soon. Be thankful you Sec 3 noobs. Fail Chemistry and we will personally chemically castrate you. Anyway, I didn't do anything after that on Monday and Tuesday except come home, get bugged, sleep and study.

So today, something different. I came home after the session to charge my phone because the battery was empty. The talked to Jos for a bit while waiting for the phone to charge. Then I went to meet Eunice at Bugis to go down to Changi Airport to fetch Shaun. Ended up late. The flight arrived at 2.20pm, and we were at Bedok at 2.20pm. Haha, by the time we got to Changi Airport it was nearing 3pm. So we went to meet Darice and Shaun at Terminal 3's Kopitiam. Then after chatting, they took a taxi to their venues and Eunice had to go collect her prize for winning the "My Hero" contest. So we went to Suntec to go look for the City Harvest Office. In between, we went into Fox and bought chocolate. Then we looked for Tower 3, when we stepped out we were in Tower 2, Tower 4 was opposite and Tower 5 was at the right...and we just went:"Where is Tower 3?"...in the end it was the building right in front of us, just that we couldn't see the words. Haha, so we just went up. My first time there at the office, it looks pretty cool. So Eunice went to the reception to ask for her prize. Then we waited.

Here's the interesting part. Haha, Pastor Chee Kiang came out and told Eunice to follow him to go collect her prize. She was like...amazed. And Pastor opened the door for her. Like WOW...and she was talking about how she was walking so slowly and making Pastor hold the door open for her too long. Then Pastor Chee Kiang went to the toilet and we waited for the lift. When we got into the lift, I think it was one of the Ministry workers, Pastor Chee Kiang, Pastor Tan, Eunice and I. Eunice was like: "I met the other Pastor too!" I was like:"Yea, Pastor Tan." Haha, second pastor of the church and Eunice is like...just dazed. She didn't even manage to answer properly when they were talking to her. Lol. Then we went to Pastor Chee Kiang's car to get Eunice's prize. An Osim ipamper and $200 Capitaland vouchers. Haha, I can just imagine la, if Eunice gets so dazed by Pastor Chee Kiang and Pastor Tan...I wonder what'll happen if Pastor Kong was there. Stone. Haha, I wouldn't be surprised. She'll probably be like going: "Uh...uhh...uhhh...". Sheesh, the pastors are just people like us. No need to over react right?

And after all that we walked around Suntec to look for Spinworkx. I didn't know the address so we ended up walking in "Simple Toyshop" and the store owned by New Creation at "The Rock". Then we walked to Esplanade to catch our buses. We met Dave somewhere along the way but he didn't see us and was on the phone. Walked into Topman than Topshop. Then continued to walk without further distractions talking about hosing down a cigar shop with water to save the environment. Then we saw one on Eunice's friend headed toward that little area at the Esplanade who was gonna go dance. And I saw a poster which was talking about some Improv program then I started doing some improvs. Haha, I am too deprived of drama. So anyway, we were walking up and I saw the music shop there and the guitar was kickass. And there was this lady inside playing the violin. Then this convo came up.
Eunice:"Not like you're going to buy right?"
Me:"Nope, see that lady there she is playing with skill." *points at the lady playing the violin*
Eunice:*laughter*
Me:"See that guy over there, he is making with skill." *points at some ang moh guy who was at the workbench of the shop making something"
Eunice:*more laughter*
Me:"Me? I am just acting like I got skill."
Eunice:*Outburst*
Then we reached the bus stop and Eunice got on first. Then I took my bus. My parents called me while I was on the bus and asked me to alight at the stop Opp.Tanglin Mall. I did, then they asked me to walk up one more stop. -.-''' There I waited for them, then joined them for dinner. Got home...and doing nothing much. Sian...

10 more days and I'll be SO HAPPY!!! Along with my aunt who is having her wedding on that night too. Haha. Woo Hoo...Chinese tuition tomorrow, so not looking forward to it but Oral is like...a few days away too. I hate 'O' levels...Someone should like go to SEAB and just mangle everyone there. Gosh I am sadistic. Ciaoz.

Happy Father's Day! Woo Hoo!!!

HAPPY FATHER'S DAY!!!!!!! to all the dad's out there in the world. I am darn happy today but I'll get to that later. To all those who read this blog, go give your dad a pat on the back and say "Happy Father's Day, dad." or give them a hug and say the same thing. As long as you two are comfortable with it. Haha.

So anyway, lets get to why I am happy. I managed to pull off 2 things I planned for my Dad today!!! Plan number 1: Get him to come to service and answer altar call and Plan number 2: Give him a nice Birthday cake and a great birthday. (: Both succeeded! Even though he did whine a lot about the first one, he still went anyway.

So this morning I woke up at like 10.30am and I was like. ZOMGosh!!! I am so going to be late for service. *Doesn't freak out*. Went to bathe and freshen up. Then my grandma called and asked if we wanted to go pay respects to my grandpa since it was Father's Day. My mum was like, lets go. I was like, why not? My dad was like, I want to sleep. But we still went anyway. So after we got there my uncle wanted us to go to Sentosa for breakfast at his club. My mum told him I was going out with my friends. They assumed I was going out on a date. So I was like:"Maybe...Maybe not...who knows?" Any my uncle came and told me:"Earn money first la. With money, why would you fear that no girls would want you?" -.- Right...so I am like suppose to buy people to have a relationship with me. No thanks. Waste time and REALLY waste money. So then they went to pass box of tarts or something to my dad's car, cuz it was like my dad didn't want to go up so he hung out in the car. Then when they asked my dad if we wanted to join them for lunch my dad said:"No lah, I sending Leroy to church." That moment I was like...O>O *awaits impending doom* but I don't think my grandma heard it. Haha, so I was safe. If my grandma heard it, I think she'll try to drag me out to some hilltop temple and leave me there for a year or at least till I become a monk, whichever came first. then we headed down to CHC. Time was 12pm. My family went for breakfast before we made our way to service. By the time we got in it was like ending of first Praise song, so we managed to catch praise and worship. True Worshippers rock! Sidney was great, as usual. After that, the drama was just hilarious. Followed by a word from Pastor Kong and then yea...my dad got Saved! Yay! So after that we had a buffet lunch and all. I took a group photo, but then it is on Eunice's phone...-.- I'll post when I get the photos.[posted]

Photobucket
Family Portrait! of sorts, lol.

Then we came home and just slept or lazed. I talked to Jos for a bit and played my PSP.

7pm we left for dinner at Jack's Place at Anchorpoint. Met my cousin, Theodore, and Uncle Roger there. So Theodore highlighted his hair...looks disgusting. Lol, just kidding cuz no matter how you look at him it is the same ol' weird look. KIDDING. Anyway, we got our seats in Jack's Place, ordered our food. Ate it. And I went to go buy my dad a black forest cake. The we came back to celebrate it for him. It was great.
Photobucket
He looks so excited. -.-

So after we had our cake we decided to go to that store at Queensway Shopping Center to get that jacket I wanted. But the store was closed. So my family and my cousin walked home to get the care. And we sent Theodore back. He had a friggin' Acoustic nylon guitar and he wants it...-.- I've been looking for that cuz I heard his dad bought it. T.T No chance le...haha. So I came home and now I am blogging this. That's my day I guess. Still quite happy.

Here are a few shout outs: "HAPPY FATHER'S DAY TO ALL FATHERS!!!" ; "HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO MY DEAR FATHER" ; "CONGRATS TO EUNICE FOR WINNING THE 'MY HERO' WRITING CONTEST" ; "GOOD LUCK TO AILN FOR YOUR RANKING COMPETITION" ; "YAY ME FOR ACCOMPLISHING TODAY!" and finally "I FEEL LIKE AN IDIOT CONGRATULATING MYSELF."

Yep, that's about it. (:

And someone's ignoring me again. Sorry la...T.T I definitely over-use the word "sorry" around you. But I didn't do anything that harmed you.

C.O.D.E R.E.D!!!!

Yo everyone! I am back from the Youth Camp. I know a few people missed me, yea yea...nvm. Lol. C.O.D.E R.E.D camp was filled with fun and all but it was really different from anything I have gone through. Alright lets get to it. Reverse time.

Tuesday
Did my usual stuff that I do for waking up late and all. Woke up at 9am...fell asleep...woke up at 10.30am...fell asleep...11.30am...napped...11.45am. Decided to drag myself out of bed. Got some math done. Then my uncle came over bringing lunch and took a break at my house. Must say the weather is pretty merciless on the Taxi drivers of today. So after that I just did a bit more work. Then went out at 3pm and made my way to CDAN for bowling with Eunice before a meeting at church. Haha, we got there a bit late and there were no lanes available so we went on waiting list. 2 mins later my name was called -.-, I didn't even get to sit down for A WHILE. Anyway, my bowling ball didn't get stuck. In fact it dropped once or twice. Still my games were pretty consistent even if my avg did drop. Haha, 135, 148, 154 not bad...I improved at each game. Didn't really get my turkey but I got double twice, not too bad for someone who hasn't been bowling for a period of time. After the games we headed to church for the meeting and Dr. Rev. Robb Thompson was the speaker again. (: He's good. Haha, had some really funny moments. Dr. Thompson:" I love you people because you laugh when I tell you the truth." Crowd: "*laughs somemore*". Haha. It was really great. Then we went to Subway so that I could grab my dinner. It was still open but near closing time by the time we got there so I get a Italian B.M.T and just gobbled it up. Then I went home. Got home...bathed, changed and poof! Asleep.(:

Day 1 (Wednesday)
It was a long trip to Presbyterian High School at Yio Chu Kang. It is like...a semi-circle around the MRT system from Commonwealth to Yio Chu Kang. -.-"' So I transfered trains at Jurong East station and decided to take a nap on the trip to Yio Chu Kang. So after like an hour I finally reached Yio Chu Kang. Met Wendy on my way out of the train I think she saw me before that but I was sleeping. LOL. Anyway, after that we went down and met Eunice and Jenzi who were waiting for us at the lobby of the MRT station. So there we were, I having the extremely large bag as usual walking towards Presbyterian High School. We just hung round at the canteen when we got there from 9am - 11.15am because of the registration process. Then we put our bags in the bunks, got everything ready for lunch and played games after lunch. We had Water Tower...Spider Web...Minesweeper...etc. After the games it was the first session which was the screening of "Indescribable"Part 1. It was amazing, really showed me how splendid God truly is. And to think Earth is considered big. O.O If Earth was a golfball...lol. The universe is REALLY REALLY big. Then it was mission night, dinner, followed by the night game. The night game was called LEFT BEHIND. It is like a thrill "ride" which depicts what may happen after Rapture. Eunice was screaming like nuts. And we talked about what we would do if Rapture happened for real. Everyone was like: "same, same, same." The trail itself was rather fun. I got sprayed with water though...-.- what a DELIGHT. It was fun anyway. But what my highlight of the day was is what happened after that. The night session. It was just so amazing. Pastor Chee Kiang talked about the cross and the people's response to it and Jesus' response from it. And I realized Jesus never judged anyone even upon the Cross or Calvary. Like...Amazement. Then by the time to session ended it was like...1.30 am alrdy. So I went to have supper with the HOPE 3 people, my team mates. And then bathe and off to bed. (:

Day 2 (Thursday)
Woke up at like 6.30am, washed up and went down to the parade square. There we had our morning PT. Like quite a lot of people left the night before from HOPE 3 so we only had like...under 20 people left. So it was Muay Thai for the day, and it was pretty fun. Then it was breakfast followed by morning devotions. And Daniel arrived during breakfast. Then as the day went on we had our individual male/female sessions, sports mania and other stuff. Then we had our Secondary School Evangelistic night session. It was a brilliant session, with a really touching drama musical and all. And quite the number of people got saved. After that it was dinner. Followed by clean up of the canteen, cuz it was our duty that night. And then we rushed up to go catch the Tertiary Evangelistic night session. The screening of "Indescribable" part 2. And again it was breath taking. When I came out of the room, I literally felt "light headed" but in a good way. And it was just awesome. After that we had supper and sharing. And Eunice and I waited for Darice till 3am cuz she went home to bathe. Haha. Anyway here were a few pictures taken that day.

Photobucket
Felicia,Eunice, Wendy, Yan Meng, Jenzi and Debbie. Sorry :P actually I am only sure of a few names. Lets name this picture "the Sisters".(:

Photobucket
Daniel and me. I look like a fool, then again it was a candid shot. Oh well...-.-

Photobucket
N350 + Maxim the mentor. Haha, missing in the picture: A lot of people so I won't name. Hehe.

Photobucket
The lovely hall of PHS. Looks greek.

Photobucket
PHS clocktower taken at night. There's like a cross design in the windows too.

Photobucket
Pretty stained glass image, actually it is resembling the school badge I think. At night so can't really see.

3am around there...I'm writing my testimony and someone took a picture of it with my phone.

Day 3 (Friday)
Woke up at 7am in a daze. Dragged myself to go wash up then I rolled up my sleeping bag and packed my bag. Morning PT was the standard one...you know the one with all the push ups, sit ups and stuff. Yea, the one where everyone would whine. So after that we had breakfast and reported to the seminar room for morning devotion. And that morning devotion session is what I call a MORNING DEVOTION. Really wakes you up, instead of the one in school where you either get sleepier or you really fall asleep. So after that we packed and cleared the room, and everyone went up for the finale which was sharing of some really good testimonials. After that ended, everyone just headed to the Multi Purpose hall for a time of photo taking. It was great fun. Then just chatted a bit and left the building. Anyway here are the few more pictures just before leaving PHS.

Same Combination, nearly the same hand signs too.

This time the combination is reversed. LOL. But hand signs are still the same. -.-

And Eunice wasted $2.60 on a White Chocolate Freeze a.k.a Milkshake, drank a bit and said cannot finish le. -.- Haha, then it was that LONGGG trip home again. When it was home sweet home...I came online and just fell asleep. Haha, sorry for those who felt ignored, it was really not intentional. Then I read chapter 3 & 4 of Vic's story on her blog, talked to Jos a bit and just went to sleep.

So that covers the camp. Today was not too bad. I woke up, went for breakfast, went to repair my PSP and bought a new pair of quarter pants. My brother nearly lost the PSP after we repaired it...luckily it was found by the McDonalds crew...*phew*. And I saw this really really nice jacket. Haha, $79.90...it is really really nice so I have decide to save up and buy it. If it is sold by then I'll......just buy another design since the shop does have a lot of nice jackets. Haha. Yea, other than that it was just stay home. I hope my dad can go for the Father's Day service tomorrow. It'll be really cool if he goes, haha. (: I need some rest. Catch ya'll, LATER. (more pics will be up when I get them...ehh...I wonder when the group pic will be out. That'll be big.)

Power Weekend! Actually, it is just a lot of crazy things.

So this week is suppose to be Power Weekend. Yay...hmm...reconsidered, some yay and some not-so-yay stuff went on. But I feel like I am starting to become rather apathetic to certain aspects of my life. it is not that I don't care, but I think that somethings maybe better off without my concern.

Anyway the weekend was pretty wild. Saturday was just another normal Saturday. Woke up, had breakfast, went home. And I stuck around at home quite a bit. I was doing A math and chatting online and all. Then I went out for dinner at Orchard. Then something crazy had happened in the afternoon. And I felt that I had betrayed Kell's trust yet again. Really, I feel horrible. So the night went on and over. And no, I still don't know the content of the conversation.

So Sunday came along hours later. I got up, washed up and headed off for church. I realised I only had $2 left when I got to Jurong Point... went to go withdraw $20 to buy myself a bottle of water. How pro is that? $20 for 1 bottle of water. And I wanted distilled but instead I took a bottle of MINERAL water. I was like: "Oh boy, this day is gonna be one helluva day." Then I went for breakfast at Macs, and met Eunice. Walked to the bus-interchange where we met Shaun and Eugene. Then after all the travelling and laughing on the bus, we got to church. Met the rest of the CG, and service was brilliant. The guest speaker was Dr. Rev. Robb Thompson. I feel kinda bad talking about him the way I did when I was doing announcements during Friday's CG, a bit disrespectful even though it was quite funny. Anyway he is from America and it was rather amazing how he connected with the audience. Haha, I so recognized the staging method to captivate the audience and make them part of the presentation. Simply without the use of the stage. And he was talking about 5 things that decide our life, which to me was a pretty powerful message. And after service was over, it was a short briefing for Youth Camp this coming 11th - 13th June. And then it was lunch with Shaun, Ke Li Eunice, Julia, Wendi? [not sure how to spell] & Eugene. Following that was a group escort of Darice's lunch. Haha, 7 people escorting Darice's lunch. But only Eunice and Wendi went to meet Darice, so the rest of us left cuz we were all taking the Purple line. I was headed to Vivocity to meet my aunt and parents for Kung Fu Panda. Great show. Rate it 4/5 just because it was lame, stupid, funny and made my day. (:

Anyway, the Literature trip starts today and I just want to wish Bon'voyage to the guys. Haha, Lucas, Nick and Shaun are going to share a room with Wong Chong. Can't wait to see how that goes. XD Finally going bowling on Tuesday...I think my bowling ball is going to be like...stuck. Lol, I don't wanna break my thumb. T.T Anyway, it is getting kinda late. So gotta scoot. Ciaoz

The strumming and rhythms brings me from my misery.

"I don't wanna be told to grow up." Haha, Simple Plan has some [a bit less than some] of the best lyrics. And that's exactly what I feel like doing. I don't care if my puns are lame or my joke are really weird, all that matters is a smile. I really admire really little, puny, tiny and pesky kids. They don't have any social rules to live by and they just express themselves anyway they want without being corrected. But look at the educational system, it robs us of creativity yet states to claim that 'we encourage creativity'. Freedom of expression and interpretation is true creativity.

I don't see much sense in the way society operates today. Rich countries exploit poorer countries and pay the workers there peanuts to generate high end profits and revenue for themselves. Then they go on to destroy the environment. Who dies first? The POOR people. I am not saying that revenue should be even. I agree, even I aim to have high returns if I ever become and entrepreneur. But really, look at it. Is it really worth it to have people lose their lives because their employers don't pay them their due?

Okay, I am starting to get a bit too...skeptical? Anyway the week was quite eventful.

Wednesday was A math in school. 8am - 12pm and I arrived at 9am. I managed to catch up with the rest of the class and it wasn't too bad. Came home and heard Jos talk about the Literature Seminar. After that I was just fooling around with the guitar learning Taylor Swift songs...-.- My life is so messed up.

Thursday...hmm...home alone. Haha, so it was guitar again. Then I did a bit of A math like...1 question. Then I went to Miniclips. Haha, shut up. I have not been there since Sec 2 so just zip your gap. I played Battle Wheels and Skywire. Skywire is like this thing where you control a cable car are try to get all 3 passengers across. I didn't really care who died. Then Jos called to complain about Literature Seminar and I was like " that saved me $30, cuz I didn't go! (: " Haha, people suffered a boring lecture and PAID for it. Serves them right. (: And I spent the night preparing something special for CG.

Today was quite cool. A math again. But this time everyone left at 10.30 am. Only Samuel, Micheal and I stayed back till like 12pm. So lonely la, I was the last one to leave after the graph question. Need to go work on my logarithms. After that I went for lunch with my uncle and got home to do the songsheets for CG meeting. Then my uncle said he would fetch me to Hougang even after my repeated "No need"s. Ahh...well, adults. on the road he was like complaining about how far Hougang is and that he was not goign to fetch me there anymore. I was like: "Orh, but I did say no need." Then we had CG meeting. It was brilliant as always, needs more energy. Haha. So after CG my uncle called me while on the bus and told me that he was just fed up cuz he was tired in the afternoon and said he would fetch me there. GOSH! How many times do I have to say: "No need, you go earn money, I can go on my own." It is like so nice of him to want to fetch me but his livelihood is on the line here. *Sigh* Then I had an SMS conversation all the way home with someone who was bored. Great huh? Came home, ate dinner...got a call from Shaun saying that we need to write a testimony. Then Shaun dropped the bomb on me. "Leroy, if we need to read this it will be on the stage." O>O WHAT?!!! ...continues " and I won't be there cuz I will be in UK." RAWR! No way! CHEATER. Bleah. Why me...T.T *Glumly accepts fate*. Haha. That sorts of covers my day. (:

CDAN bowling on Tuesday. So looking forward to it and so not looking forward to people staring at me on the MRT thinking what I carry in that 26 pound black bag. CHILL okay? It is not a bomb. I need the MRT. The MRT is friend, not bombsite. (: Camp next week. I don't know if i am looking forward to it. Lol.

I feel very weird, like I feel light hearted yet and the base of that there is a chain that links me to reality and its burdens. Hmm...gonna work on it. :D

Plot and draft.

Hey peeps. I am rather mixed up this week. Like everything is everywhere and I am in a fluster. And something random. My cousin is really funny, she SMS-ed me: Ehh, Leroy how to pronounce your name? Is it Lee-roy or Le-roy?. My reply: Technically it is Le-roy, because there is not second E and my mum said it is sort of like french with the stroke above the E. Then the next day Darice told me that my cousin asked her how to pronounce my name. I was like...LOL! But now you know it is Le-Roy...not Lee-Roy. I still don't quite mind either ways.

I have given up on the E math homework officially...I mean think about it logically. It is not really smart to focus on a subject that you can pass when there is the other subject you are failing at. Which would be A math. And A2 has officially become Lawrence Mak's only A math class in sec 4. So...yea, consider the options.

Well Sunday was pretty...hmm...alright la. Like nothing special or anything. Just that I had to drag myself from bed considering that I slept at 3 am that morning. But oh well, all in the name of O levels and ACJC. (: So I went to Queenstown to get Rah's exam paper and have breakfast. I always feel very like...unsettled whenever I meet her, cuz her mum can wax lyrical [according to my source: I don't even know if it is true] about me but I am seriously, FAR from expectation. Like REALLY REALLY FAR. Haha, so it is like...I seem 'guai', but no matter what, a person always has skeletons in his/her closets for sure.

So after that I went home...caught some Zs and did my E math [before the logic struck me]. Trust me, I was really stressed out that week. And I was really tired of everything already. Anyway, after it reached 10am, I left the house to head to CHC. I got there at 10.45 am and I managed to clear my week's math. Now I had A math left. Great. *shoots self*. But service was great and it really put things into perspective for me. From now on, I will serve to my best and give only excellence. Yay...Then I went to JP to eat at Subway. Walked round a bit and was talking to my Aunt Sally. Left JP at 5pm and I got home by 6.30pm. I was seriously beat. So I just ate dinner with my family...chatted on the computer for a bit and headed off to sleep. Didn't get anything done. *sigh*

Monday I just stayed at home. R&R and some quiet time to sleep.

Today Nick, Ian and I went to meet Jialin to get back our Chem papers. After the session Ian left first for a movie and Nick wanted to wait for Cumara. So we just sat around doing nothing. then Cumara ended up at Epicenter looking for headphones...and we went to Best Denki in Takashimaya to continue the search and finally after finding a headphone which was black [even though I said the baby blue one suited him nicely] we went to KFC. Then we just sat around and waited for Cumara to finish his notes on Organic Chem. After that Cumara went to buy gifts for his parent's anniversary. First, he was looking for a cake without egg. Cake without egg...Cake in Chinese is 蛋糕...without eggs? 糕. Great huh? Just buy Cream. So after he couldn't find one, we went to Paragon to look for more. And it was unsuccessful, so he bought chocolate for his parents instead. After that Nick, Cumara and Jialin were headed to Plaza Singapura. So I just gave up and went home. When I got home, a phone call from Jos came...we talked till 6.30pm. I went to clean up, mop floor and everything. Then my parents came home and I have overnight curry for dinner...WOW. If I don't make it for lessons tomorrow, you'll know why.

I am starting to think about DSA (Direct School Admission) via my drama certificate. But the thing is that I am worried that the criteria might require both performance + qualification but I have never joined a competition because I was never in Drama. I'll have to work extra hard to get into ACJC if I want that DSA and I need to seriously consider ACSian theatre for my JC life. But I really don't mind, ACSian Theatre is reputable and it is a pretty good organization to grow in I think. Just the politics. (:

Sigh, now that I see what's around me. It seems like my school friends and those people whom I thought were my best friends are nothing more than mere acquaintances. There really seems to be no one who will open up to me or actually just spend time to listen. It is the O level year, I agree. Yet I don't know why I am just disappointed with my 'best friends' in school when it seems like I am only a friend to them when I am physically around them at other times, I am just another guy on the list of countless people a person knows. I am truly blessed to have really great friende, even in very few number around me. I suppose it is just looking out for who is really there I guess. (: At least even if everyone deserts, I'll have 1 friend who won't.

I'll survive. Haha. Ciaoz.
