NEW GUITAR!!!!
Yo people!!! Been MIA for a bit but I do have a lot of things to do. I got a job at Marina Mandarin recently and just started work as a waiter there. Pay is $6/hr, not very high paying but it is ok and the pay is better than my last jod, so I'm not complaining. Haha, hours are a bit awkward though...from 7am - 3pm. And I have to take MRT cuz the bus only arrives at my house at 6.13am earliest. I take 45 mins to get there by bus. Not too bad la. I calculated. If I was to work 5 days a week [I work more than that], I would get about $900 per month I think. But enough of that, back to the post title.
NEW ACOUSTIC GUITAR!!!! Cheap too...

New guitar!!!!

And that is a 2nd hand guitar. So I got it for $40. Quite a deal. Came with a gig bag too. Haha, I was ecstatic... Now I'm waiting for my pay to get a beginner's electric so that I can progress on that too.
That ends my post I guess. Haha, so tired the past few days...my shoulder is killing me.

ASIA CONFERENCE!!!
The 1st Asia Conference 2008 is OVER!!! Happy about it being over. No, I don't hate it. I LOVE Asia Conference. Haha, I really pray that it will be more explosive in June 2010. But all in all, the whole 5 days experience from November 19th - 23rd was BEYOND AWESOME, it was BE-AWESOME![
(c)Walt Disney's Bolt]. There was such a strong touch of God, I think even non-believers felt something special about the atmosphere. It was just amazing.
Speakers were: Rev. Dr.
Kong Hee [
Crowd goes wild: Esp City Harvesters], Rev. Dr.
Phil & Pastor
Christine Pringle [
Crowd continues to cheer], Rev. Dr.
A.R. Bernard [
Everyone goes wild], Rev. Dr.
Ulf Elkman [
cheering] and Rev.
Benny Hinn [
Sick people go mad, Pastors all stress]. LOL...no offence intended to Rev. Benny Hinn.
Performers:
C3 Band [
ehh...I dunno how to sings their songs now. They are too creative],
CHC Band [
woo hoo!!! New Songs!!!],
True Worshippers [
Sidney FOR THE WIN! (:],
Don Moen [
The only guy who can make the whole congregation go wild playing a Sunday School song. (: Genius] and
Carola Haggkvist [
Great voice, don't try to sing along. You'll damage your inexperienced vocal chords. It happened to me]
Celebrity Performers:
Liu Geng Hong and
JJ Lin.
Well, the 5 days were just so power packed. Ps. Kong's opening message showed everyone how the Church should move into the World to influence it. Not to be isolated from the World. Haha, I can't help but do this though. A.R. Bernard is A
GENIUS. Like literally. He shows us that from the Bible we can see that the RELIGION side of Christianity is now opposing how God wants us to work. Haha, not going to emphasize on that a lot cuz this blog is not meant for super-spiritual exclaimations. But I've learn that culture will stay. It will. From Babylon, Rome, the 10 great nations all the way till the end of times. It will be
THERE. That's fact won't change, cuz culture is the root of human social order right now. And the idea is not to run away of change it. But to embrace it.
Haha, anyway out of N350 Ying Hui, Shaun and I survived all five days!!! But not all sessions, like...the whole cellgroup skipped Session #3 cuz Shaun and I were too tired alrdy and Ying Hui didn't wanna get into trouble. LOL. Within the span of 5 days I ate rice twice and 1 subway. The rest was chips and granola bars...with plain water. Like...GOODNESS. But it was worth it.
Anyway, I don't want to go into details of the messages here. If you missed it, you missed it. Haha, if you want to hear more, well...I'm too lazy to post so just MSN. Anyway, here are the pics on the final day:

Grad night...
Today can be summed up in 1 word. Thoughtful. Yea it was fun, but I had loads of time reflecting too. Maybe I might share next time.
Well, I woke up and packed up some stuff in my room today. Then headed to Lucas' house. When I got there they were watching Fairly Odd Parents on Nickelodeon. Then we went up to play DOTA. Ian vs Keli and Ben Khoo. As usual, Ian owned. Haha, but I just went online and chatted. I played, Rockband, Battle of Characters, Ridge Racers 7, GTA IV and some other stuff... We played. And Played. And Played. Till 5.30pm then everyone got geared up to go. HEre are the pics and here we go!:

@ Lucas's house.

Everyone dressed up and ready to PARTY!!!

The good side of 4A2 with Mr Mak. Dave got cut into half.

Good Side of 4A2 with Mr Glenn Wong. And the Jasmine Green Tea bottle too. (:

Our photo with Mr Eric Loh and Mr Samuel Eio. The Physics teachers. Too bad Mr Leong was a bit late. Haha...

Table 15. Gerald Tham, Ben Khoo [with the PSP], Wong Chong, Me, Shaun, Lucas, Jeremy.

Wong Chong, WITHOUT SPECS!!!

Notice how Lucas doesn't look straight at the camera...

What in the world is so interesting Lucas?!

Nick, Mr Alan Lim and Shaun

The end of Grad night. Shaun, Lionel, Colin, Marcus and Gary.
I have a feeling that my life in Barker has been fruitful. And 4A2 will probably be one class that will stay in my mind for quite a while. Haha, the constant quote from Mr Mak. How Dave's eyes were huge. How bad Joel Chee smells. The parent's name calling. The emails from Mr Mak through the year to encourage us for exams. Vanessa. Soccer Manager. DotA. Chaos...etc. Hectic, but it was memorable. Well, we pulled through our O levels and we just pray for the best. 4A2 of 2008 has come to an end, but the friendships will stay strong for years to come. (:
Tomorrow will be a long day...esp the job interveiw. Sigh...I don't know how enthusiastic I am at the idea of working. BUT...I finally get to go for Cellgroup. YAY!!!
Its getting late...probably should go snooze...I'll update and edit this post when I get more pics. But for now this will have to do.

O levels are DONE.
O LEVELS ARE OVER!!!! That's just a statement, not an exclaimation. I ain't that excited about the holidays...or rather workdays ahead. Sigh...
Yesterday it was the end of the O levels for the people taking combine science so I decided to go watch movie with Jos and Vic since their papers were over. And even if mine weren't I know that I was not going to be celebrating it because everyone will have their own activities and I was probably going to be at home. Which is where I'm at right now. So predictable.
So we went to go watch High School Musical 3. And as usual the two ladies were late... Is this some sort of perpetual thing? Seems that way. So anyway we had our lunch, bought our tickets and walked around for a bit. Went to fool around a bit at Toys 'R' Us since it was so busy all around and the shops there mainly had stuff that was not worth looking at unless you have a credit card an a monthly income of $10,000. But then again, all of us alrdy have our prom/ grad night stuff settled. So they went round and played with soft toys and flowers while I just followed aimlessly worrying about the time. Bought Lucas' PSP charger and Iphone headset for him. Then it hits 1pm and we headed for the cinema...
HSM 3 was unbelievably predictable. But the storyline was okay. Jos would tell Vic that they were going to sing and they would. Standard. Haha, guess the deviating paths between students who form relationships at high school and move on the college. But some stuff they did were quite retared. Ah well...3/5 I suppose.
After the movie, her royal highness went on some mad book shopping spree. Picked out 4 books then had a problem choosing which one to drop so that it will be under $50. It was settled in 2mins but the very direct Jos...I just stood there, cuz I was laughing so hard. Then we went to walk around at Forever 21, Pull and Bear, Topshop and a few other places. Then headed to my home. There we just played the guitar and sang...and had piggyback rides...and other rubbish stuff that included old photo albums of my brother, Nigel. That sort of wraps it up...Here are the pics people:

Purple flowers...

The royal flower?! Haha, jokes.

I'm NOT a tree

Jos and Vic. Purple people.

(12.Greetings to your frog Leonard), (Icebladex-04).OH MY GOSH, I'm going to die of boredom. So much so that I'm resorting to this. Sigh...got to go look for a job again. I don't know what to do? Work at Haagen Daze? Work with my uncle at some shipping thingy? Work at Esplanade? Look for a job as a retail assistant? Electronics? Books? Games? Theatre stuff? WHAT TO DO. Worst part of all that is that this is all done to get into JG and I don't want my parents telling me they don't want to let me go back cuz they have no money and they need my money. I'm sick of it. I've been fed enough lies, excuses, empty promises and fake smiles...so much so that I'm sort of giving up on trying to spot them. Just let it go...and I won't do anything to affect it, either ways another lie will spring up somewhere and it will be back to square 1. Wanna consider performing arts...but as usual I'll have to readapt and be comfortable on stage again. Sigh...Catch Ya' some time soon! (;

Drawing to an end.
Hey guys, I know I've been on MIA for a while. Life's been giving me some ups, loads of downs and a bucket full of all the other rubbish in between. But I still manage it quite well. (:
Last week from Tuesday till Thursday it was study and chiong literature. And the literature paper was okay. But I still faced the problem of not being able to finish all my essays in time. Yay me. I FEEL SOOO GOOD after that...*sarcasm for you slow people* Sigh... But at least the weekends made up for it. And it was MCQs left!!!!
Saturday I woke up like 9am? Played with the PSP till I got sick of it. Then my family woke up at 11am. Amazing ain't it? I sleep at 2am. Everyone else sleeps at 12mn, except my dad. But I wake up before all of them. like can the weekends get any lazier? Oh well, then I had breakfast and just slacked around for most of the time. Then I went to join the Drama class, at like 5pm cuz Tara wanted me to play photographer. And there were loads of phantoms cuz everyone was jumping around and walking about. One thing about Olympus cameras, they have 0 Tolerance for movement. Even my handphone camera is better than that. Haha, no offence intended if Tara ever reads this. Well, after that I came home...forgot what I did and I think I slept at 2.45am.
Sunday, the family woke up at 10am? 11am? Had lunch. Then I had to rush down to FORUM to catch the class perform. Like OMGosh 12.30pm alrdy and I just reached home. So I cabbed down and it was pouring. Reacher there in time. Oh yea here are some pics.:

I dunno the title, don't think they have one. So this is the EYBS(Express your best self) play.

lol, Aizen playing with Ms Arriola's hair...

Class is in SESSION!

Say cheese!!
After that it was a wrap up and everyone mostly dispersed. And I, having nothing to do followed Douglas and Harsh around. In the end we settled at Macs with Alex and Santhiya and just chilled. After that i was just a whole load of moving around. We wanted to go get Santhiya's bag, Tara was looking for us and all... So we met Tara and she told us that they needed 2 volunteers for Improv Theatre. So between the 5 of us, we decided that Douglas and I would go up to help. And I ended up being a Toy Box...and I thought a box was bad enough for party quirks. -.-''
Ended up watching the whole performance. And then we had our photgraphs taken by a pro photographer who Tara happens to know. And I had to head home. But on the way out it was the hello song. Haha, and the trio as usual. Went wild with the song. Go home and I was all alone. So I did physics. Haha.
Today was okay. Physics MCQ was managable. Just hope that my paper 2 pulls through. I don't know what's going to happen.
Random pictures of Cookie drinking. Quite rare:

SUPER BIG EYES...
Gonna watch HSM 3 tomorrow! Just before chem. Then I will practise Chem at night! I promise! I definitely will!...somethings are just so fragile.
Friends. They come and go. How true. Haha, with Wen Jie going to China to study (seriously every 2 years change 1 school?! WTHeck is with that system? It is messed up!), Shaun going back to America and Kelleynne going to Australia. It gets a bit saddening some times to see some folks go, but hey new people will come along. And we just keep walking. If fate allows, we'll meet in the future. (: But seriously dunno how to keep in contact with WJ alrdy, haha go china got internet only in chinese! LOL! GG...
I desperately need cash to get an amp for my Hofner! Haha, donations are kindly accepted and your generousity will not go unrewarded!! (: *so blindly optimistic* I love being a polygana!!!
"Those words said before. They are still true." ...twit twit. I'm definitely losing sanity.
