Rip, roll and rock.
Hey guys. its New year's eve. Time flies so quickly. Sigh 2008 is gone just like that. I'll miss this year. It was good to me. haha.
Anyway, here is an update of what has been going on. Christmas for me was basically spent at home. Yea...boring. But I played basketball and went running with my cousin so it isn't so bad I guess. Then there was service on sunday, etc. Monday, Ben planned a trip to ECP to go skating. Ivan, Tyan Huey and Jasmine came too. Original arrangement was to meet up at 9am. I made good time. Got there at about 9.15am. Waited for an hour for them to arrive. Haha, claims put the blame on Jasmine. Oh well. Anyway we got skating and it was just Tyan Huey, Ben, Ivan and I who were skating. Jasmine didn't wanna skate cuz she didn't know how to. LOL. Haven't skated for a while. It took a bit of breaking in by the skates were nice. Not too heavy. But I still can't do much on it. Blame it on my weight, oops. Anyway, I still had a great time.

Taking a break.

The bros. I really don't look like a skater...-.-'''
After that, we headed down to Peninsular Excelsior to go buy Ivan's guitar. Since his new year's resolution is to play for cellgroup before leaving. So I helped him pick out one. We settled for a solid top D&G acoustic. A bit big for Ivan, but I am sure over time he will be able to appreciate the volume it generates and the tone. (: I want one too, but I am still too noobish. lol... After that we walked from there to Bank Of China, I had to run errands for my dad. And proceeded to Clarke Quay for lunch. I lost the glass slide I bought, but at least I still have the strings. Sigh....careless me. T.T
Went out on Tuesday on a sort of movie mania. Watched Bedtime stories and Twilight with Jos. I am sort of disappointed with how twilight turned out. But it is watchable. Definitely. Bedtime Stories was good, although I dunno if it is a kid's movie or an idiot's movie. But anything with Sandler in it = FUNNY. Well, the day was fine for me. At least I got to go out. (:
Today, went to school to get my EAGLES award cheque [award! AWARD!]and help Mr Alex Lee with some filing stuff for next year's chem batch. I say, they better treasure the files. It was made out of child labour. Just LOOK.

Oh the guy in the tank top, that's Kenneth. HAHA. He may not look it but he is 16.
Well, with that sorted out. My New Year's Resolution is to get into a good JC, top the class in at least 2 subjects out of 10, play the guitar better, learn to write songs, have better relationships all round, learn to love people more and finally, be a better person overall and not lose myself amongst all the persona. Oh yea, I'm gonna get myself started in JG again too. -.-'''
HAPPY NEW YEAR FOLKS!!
p.s. HEY SHAUN! I have New Year before you. lol, have a good celebration man. I know it is hard, but time flies. (:
Light the world.
These few days have been great. There was candlelight service over the weekends and today on christmas eve. It is really a beautiful sight to see the whole hall lit up by nothing but candlelight. I feel that I have been growing relationally to people around me. Both in church and out of church. But sometimes, I can also feel that church is breaking the bonds I have with my other friends outside of it too. I can only hope and pray that it will not be permanent damages but it is just temporary. Anyway here are the pics. (:

Sunway Lagoon.
Hey guys! I'm back in Singapore! It is really home sweet home. Anyway, to cut straight to the point...
Day 1 (Monday)
Woke up at 5.30am. Freshened up, packed out and went to Golden Mile Complex to catch our bus to Sunway Lagoon. It was a total of 6 people going: My family, My cousin and his girlfriend. The bus left at 8am...long ride till we reached Pyramid Hotel at 2.30pm. We checked in late. But since it is free and easy, no one really cares. We spent the first day just looking round the Pyramid Plaza Shopping mall. Has a huge Ice Skating rink at the basement level. But it was Archery and Bowling for the first night. I had to use the house ball so I can't play properly since I ain't used to straight shots anymore. So I didn't use the thumb hole and the ball hooked like nuts...even my reactive is not as furious on the rev... Had KFC for supper after that. Here are the pics of first day.

Euphoria by Ministry of Sound. Haha, they actually have MOS in Malaysia.

LOOK! it is on the hotel room cards too...

This is what passes for a christmas tree near the hotel.

Day 2 (Tuesday)
Woke up at 7.30am and got ready and stuff. My family only went down for breakfast at like 9am. Then after breakfast we went up and most of us napped till 12.30pm before waking up. So our plans changed. Instead of going to the lagoon to relax, we decided to go shopping in KL. Our first stop was KLCC, no it is not a community center. It is a commercial complex. And it is also the ground level of the twin towers. Then it was a trip to Sogo, sort of like...the John Little of KL. Bought a shirt there. Then we proceeded to Timesquare via the KL MONOrail, bought a fedora on the way there. Once there I went on a frenzy. Bought 1 pair of jeans, 1 vest, 1 jacket and a free belt. After that we just took the monorail to another station for dinner at some place that looks like a shopping street. But it was food all the way. Took photos with some baskers. After dinner we took a commuter train to try and get back to the hotel. But seems like we got the wrong directions and ended up taking the wrong train. -.-''' But we still got back to the hotel in the end.

This is how the room looks like in the morning.

This is sort of their grand central park...

Day 3 (Wednesday)
Woke up at 8am this time. Went down for breakfast at 9.30am. Then we went back up to the hotle rooms to grabs some stuff and change to go into Sunway Lagoon. It opened at 11am. So we went there at 11am. Changed the coupons for wristbands to get into the place. Then we upgraded to all parks so we had access to the entire place. So we had a ride on the ATV, followed by kayaking, paintball, rock climbing...then the water rides. Didn't go on the flying fox because I didn't want to go up some 5 storey tower, half naked and get blown dry by cold air just to end up in water again. But I did make it up with stuff like the Viking ride, Roller Coasters, Water Log slide....etc. Got all tired, and left at 6pm. Closing time. After that it was dinner at Chicken Buffet. A buffet resteraunt with nothing much but chicken that tasted like shoes. It was so dry I had to pour my coke on it just to make sure that I don't salivate too much when biting the chicken. Then I went round hunting for gifts...but everything was so darn expensive, I only bought gifts that were NEEDED. Sigh...after that I went back to the hotel room to refresh myself and my cousin suggested to go down to the bar at the hotel lobby. There we played pool and table soccer. My cousin and his girlfriend were playing britney spears and high school musical over the jukebox. Haha, we had some drinks. My dad had a Mocha float and complained it wasn't sweet enough. Like...now I know where I got the sweet tooth from. I had a grasshopper...they had it so nicely mixed I might as well be drinking mouthwash. -.-''' But it was just for 1 night so I guess it was worth it. And that wrapped up the night.

DON'T.

My bro..spidey.
Day 4 (Thursday)
Woke up at 8.30am and had breakfast. Then it was a bit hectic. I went to go ice skating with my dad and bro while the rest went shopping. Skated for like 1 hour. That was the highlight. Then it was packing up, a short meal at Mcdonalds and A LONG RIDE HOME. Haha...I don't wanna emphasize.

Before we hit the rink

He'll get sick of that V sign when he gets older.

Dad & Bro

Someone ain't too hot on ice...

I look okay in this one.

HAHA, me bro is skating...with 2 guys holding him up.
Anyway the trip was a blast. Totally fun, since I get to spend money like no one's business. And I got back in time for 1 hour of hanging round after the Cellgrp Christmas party. Everyone seemed so happy.(: It was great.

LOL.

The last few shot of the ACSBR 4A2, smart clique.

Shaun and Felicia doing the sian look.
Friday, I watched 2 movies with Jos. Angus, Thongs and Perfect Snogging followed by Yes Man. Yes Man was not originally on the to watch list but it was good too. We had to go from Orchard Cineleisure to Lido then to Vivo. Just the check if Bolt was still available. But unfortunately it wasn't or we were late. So after that I went to riverwalk to meet Shaun and we were like walking around a lot. First it was the plan for us to hang out with Shaun at the Jazz club. But they were uncomfortable with the bar ambience. So we planned to go somewhere else but ended up at Starbucks for a while. Then Shaun, Julia, Eunice, Darice, In Soo, Robson and I went to Changi airport. Got there at like 9.30pm...then Christopher joined us with his guitar. Weng Loong and Wong Chong came to say goodbye too, but they caught the last train home. So we accompanied Shaun till his family came and we had a long night. But it was worth it. Especially for such a great brother. (:
Some of my feelings, I wasn't sad that Shaun was leaving. Because I know he will move on to greater things in America. Instead I was sadden by another scenerio. To see two people having to seperate, and how they both made such a huge effort to hold it together. It is really tough. And I can sympathise with it to an extent. It is a really messy feeling and it becomes very surreal in a not-so-nice way. Shaun will be back and till then everyone, not just N350, will have to progress and show him that his arrival back will be highly anticipated. Haha, for now there goes the guy who knows a lot of random people. Cheers Shaun, hope you are settling down well in America if you read this.
Still got pictures to upload. (: Next time.
