Hey, 'sup guys. (: I haven't updated in quite a while. Happening things exploding all over.

Anyway, last thursday we caught "Let The River Flow" a children's play by Act3 Theatrics. Was quite late for it and I had to rush in...Sigh...

I personally felt that during the play, the kids were really held back by their teachers. Being told to sit down all the time and some were even pulled and forced to sit down. I believe that theatre is all about expression. Especially for children's theatre, the emcee who started the show said himself: "The special thing about this play is that you can be involved." Yet the children were scolded at times when they wanted to express themselves. Although it may be right to control the children to prevent them from damaging the props, I feel that the Singapore education system has developed to a point where the purpose of such exposure is defeated. The idea of having children watch such performances is to give them and appreciation of the arts, but when teachers tell them off for wanting to participate it makes the whole trip like a school lesson. Hence, the children are put off by the theatre scene in that sense.

And the government complains abt how the local arts scene needs more talent. -.-'' Contradictory much??

Had a good weekend and I got some good R&R.

School this week was super messy. I feel that my schedule has been crumpled, ripped into pieces and thrown aside. With AGM, Oops! Orientation and SPX briefing happening at the same time...Like wth, I can't do no Shadow clone technique thingy. But it was fun, played Wii quite a bit on Monday. Cam-whored too with my great classmates before DD.

School has been good to me so far. And I finally got my FEDORA BACK from Nick!!!! I swear, it has been like....years since I saw my fedora. Lol, the joy...*tears*
