HALLOWEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEENNNN!!!!

Yo PEOPLE! HALLOWEEN PARTY IS DONE!!!! WOO HOO... and seems like it was a success. At least near the end. (:

Well, anyway its been a while since I updated. Been too busy planning and worrying about procedures for the event. Which was quite successful even with a few major hiccups here and there. So that was a job well done I suppose.

Anyway, on thursday, DADP 1B 01 got pranked by Ms Wong. Apparently she hadn't been able to book a room for DiE to start at 11am. So we went at 11am but wasted an hour of our lives cuz it was only going to start at 12pm. -.-'' MS WONG OWES US 1 hour of life. Well, seems liek we are only going to be able to watch the movie next week. So Jerry and I spent that time to accompany Ynex to FC4 for lunch. And she owes us KFC now. (: Or at least me. Hehe~~~ I'm so mean. Anyway, during lunch Ynex then asked me: "What is a P-A-O machine?" And I pointed at the heating machine beside the drink stall. And that's called a pao machine? OMG...but Ynex took 2 mins to get it. XD Got a good laugh out of it.

Friday was a long day....Hahah, GEMs was so sad. Gene was like trying to get people to talk and give opinions and the highlight of the class was mooching and whether it is right or wrong. In the end only the CASS people spoke. And when he asked if anyone wanted to take a shot at CASS. We realised that it was Deborah and Jerry going at it. -.- CASS kicking CASS's own butt. Like...what the heck? Damn sad la. The class so quiet. I need to read more before lessons. After that it was a long wait till halloween started.

Well, Happy halloween to all!!!

I got to go catch up on my much needed sleep now.

MY LAPPY IS BACKY!!!

Now I need to raise $374. To repay for it. :/ Exam fees too. Along with School fees. I need to start getting paid for what I do. ):

Anyway, everyone seems to be hooked onto them:

Janice and Sonia - Officially missing you.

They sound totally awesome. Sigh, I am looking for a mic that can be used for these kind of recordings too.

I miss the feel of my laptop's keyboard and how smooth i can type on it. (: I HAVE IT BACK NOW!!!!!!!

A flash of life

I try too hard. I will be that garbage boy who picks up the lost and broken hearted. I ain't much of boyfriend material. :/ I ain't much of a friend either if I can bear to lie just to make them feel better. I am a deception myself. I don't even know who I am anymore.

New wristbands.

$7 Altogether. (:

Went to Vaanie's for deepavali lunch today. Had a good time with those who went. Ate with me hands. Quite the experience. Played in the playground. Chilled at Coffee bean, Tea leaf. Went to the night market. Got home.

Nice day. But her's ended on a bad note. ):

Time's reminscence.

Hey guys, finally free to do a full post I think. (:

Its 2am in the morning and I am too stubborn to sleep. Gonna go to Vaani's place with the rest of 01 for Deepavali lunch. Wonder if I need to bring anything...:/ I kinda feel like a freeloader now. Oh wells.XP

Anyway the week has been eventful. And my modules for this term seem rather interesting, or at least until the lectures start to go into full run again. ILP part 2, ISP, FBS, KYR. 4 modules that will have long dragged out lectures to expect. But ISP is looking to be rather interesting. And then there is DiE. I think a few of the new applied drama tools that Ms Wong covered is useful. But when used in a context where everyone is lighthearted and can't be bothered the strength of the tool isn't going to shine. Useful, nonetheless.

Know your rights, seems to be interesting. Although very few in the class had it as a first choice GEMs. I think CASS has the most number of applicants. 6 people...(: And we got identified rather swiftly. Geez, are we really that outstanding?? o.o...and oh yea, a good friend of mine also happened to scatter everything in my bag onto the floor. :/ AND T18 is like a hidden teaching block.(no one really notices it, at least not from CASS.)

Halloween booth opened for both Thursday and Friday. We hit the quota on thursday, but no one wanted to join on friday. So we hope that people will start signing up again on monday. *fingers crossed* I need to look for a Disk Jockey soon. For the PARTAAEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!! Great stuff, although I still don't have my costume. Hmm...means I can't teach tuition next week either. T.T My income and credibility is dropping...RAPIDLY. I wanna earn money!!! >.<

Well, went for some dinner thingy with Jerry today. (FREE FOOD!!! YAY!!!) :D But then it was quite awkward la. And I was late...rushing from service. :/ Oh well, had a good night. And there was this drink that caught our attention:

Shirley's Temple.

this is it!

Dinner was at NUSS guildhouse at Suntec. Quite a nice cosy little place. (:

Dine ALFRESCO!!!

Recently, Johanan (an aquaintence and friend from ACSBR) posted an ACS DAY article on FB. And it brought back memories of what defined us ACS boys. Not really things that would make out parents proud, such as roaring as a school when there was the clang of metal dustbin lids or childish rivalries with boys in tight white pants. I realised that those things did define ACS BR boys, even if it wasn't that great. It made us different. Although, there is one part of Nicholas Wong's article that was warpped. Girls DO NOT flock towards us at the mention of ACSBR. -.- Him and his PL girl. Lol....what the hell. Ah, all the nostalgia. Classrooms were kinda like a playground then. With kids either up to no good, kids being no good or kids just watching. But somehow a bit of it has been loss in the new batch. Peesh. ):

Addicted to this song:

An old project I have embarked on~~

Verse 1:
I'd surrender my heart again to you.
give you all I have in a song of worship
I walk again, to follow you;
Make my heart clean and new.

verse 2

I give my life to know your love,
chose to honour you above all.
Longing to feel your presence here;
Calling out even when you're near.

Pre-Chorus:

Bring back the light of hope.
Bring back my song of joy.

Chorus:
Christ, we call to you.
Jesus, give us life.
All I want is you,
Bring back the heart of worship.

Bridge:
Nothing shall take you away,
you bring back the love I have.

That should do it for the night. I now need to figure out a melody line and a permanent time signature for that song. (: Nights people!

Screw it.

I'm tired, pissed and irritated at the moment. The week has been great, but I'm quite sick of a few individuals in my social circles. Esp given the fact that they judge me and condemn me with words, without knowing a flying fuck about my circumstances. Lets name them, "AK" and "AS". Apparently I'm a person of many faces, is something wrong with that? Social Psychology states that there isn't anything bad about that, its just a natural thing. But no, these individuals have to make it a point and put me in a box. Haha, try boxing me up. Good luck with it really. But no point being all down about it. I'm still me, ain't satisfied? Who gives a shit?

Society ain't churning out humans, they are churning out mindless people who refer to paper cut outs on how to live life. Fun, isn't it? Apparently it is. And it is popular. I see the world in a different light. It is really 2 sides of a coin. And the sad part of it is that no one wants to see the sad side. And people choose to be ignorant to pain and suffering. Ignorance is a different realm from innocence. Its ridiculous. Ah, redemption will come...redemption will come. -.-

Anyway, I'll blog more about the week when I have time. Damn tired and I need to stop procrastinating about my to-do list.

Nights.

Back 2 Skool.

ITS BACK TO SCHOOL PEOPLE.

And it kicks off with 3 hours of Social Psyche with Ms Divjyot. OMG. Hahahaha, amazing stuff. But we did some of the things in class before so it isn't a totally new topic. This was the best thing that happened. For everything the Skyne put out to the class, Ms Div crushed. :/ Me so mean, but what he said really made no sense. His statement is that there is a clear line between thought and emotions. -.- Emotions can exist without thought, possibly true in a rare scenario. But thought cannot be led without emotions, otherwise Justice would be defaulted. Lol...Joke. And Ms Div went through asking everyone who we were. And I answered "A human being.", almost immediately Sebas turns and tell me to not be emo. LOL...and here we are talking about social influence. Judgement of others by social requisitions. Teens allow positive feedback only, neutral or negative feedback makes you seem "emo" cuz so much attention has been given to that fad. Its shallow.

Who am I? A person who has lived a short 17 years in this world. Takes pride in my craft of drama. Has brilliant friends and isn't bothered by an unknown number of haters. Loves to look for answers in the most intrinsic topics.Name's Leroy, which to me is unique and has quite a nice ring to it. Recently acquired a new love for guitars. A fool for guilt, but improving to be a better person. A student in the subject of life and a practioner in the subject of living. This practise is liberating, but I always somehow end up walking in circles and reasoning to no end. Still learning.

Went to Bugis for lunch with Yi Kai, Shafarie, Vaanie, Beatrice and Jerry. Lol...had Tong Seng Chicken Rice. Then we met Carin at Topshop and went shopping at Bugis Street. :/ Walked around a lot and got tempted to buy loads of stuff. Haha, self control on expenditure is getting better on my part! Woo Hoo! After that Jerry and I went to Far East for A sweet slice of life. (: I still wanna go there for more. Try everything again! XD Had a pretty fun day out with friends once again. I still love 01.

I realised my blog is quite hard to read due to the font size...but I'm too lazy to change such a nice blogskin. I am a HTML idiot too. Oh well. :P

Finally, some time for reminiscence.

Tag replies:
shaun-Lol...I moved cuz the house is getting old.Got another place so this is a temporary place. Hahaa, warranty doesn't cover that. :/

Hey sup peeps. Hahah, had a rather nice weekend. Last one before school starts.
Went for a reunion dinner with 4A2 of 2008. Went to Seoul garden at Takashimaya. Apparently it was Joel Chiam's idea. And he got Mr Mak down to join us! Well, Mr Mak treated us...now I feel damn bad cuz I had to leave in a rush and didn't get to thank him properly. :/
Photobucket
Mr MAK!
Photobucket
Got split into 2 tables.
It was a pretty good turn out for such an event. At least 1/2 the class turned up. (: And Joel Chee didn't appear...now wonder why that would happen. XD

I rushed off to meet Fred and Kenneth who happened to be in town too. Long time since I've caught up with them. They were playing L4D when I found them. Went to PS to walk around and chilled at CJ till they closed. Then we sat at the MRT station till 11.45pm when Fred had to leave. Spent the night talking about life, politics and veiwpoints. -.- For the first time, it wasn't all talking cock. HAHAHA, AMAZING. Well, too bad we couldn't crash at Kenneth's house. :/ Sigh...
Photobucket
Fred spent his time building this while we were chatting. his MASTERPIECE.
I'd just puke. XD

Today...was quite mundane. Yea...super mundane. BORED.

Life can never be explained in a formula. Nothing can really define who you really are. So just be yourself and live to the fullest. (:

I want to just shut my eyes and let it pass.

My laptop is fixed. But I can only collect it tomorrow cuz I was too late when I wanted to go collect it. :/ Had tuition today. Went quite well, but my student seemed super intimidated by me. Haha, I am scary. Oh wells.

Photobucket
This drink costed me $1.

Its rare to find such bottled drinks nowadays. Maybe where I stay now isn't all that bad. But hey, these things I won't really miss a lot. That's just how I am. The Minimax speakers ROCK! Super clear. And loud too.

My life isn't that bad when I look at it. I just can't control some things that happen to me. Well, those who choose to be irresponsible with their lives. I'll just treat them irresponsibly.

Trust walks a fine line. Impersonal treatment to personal matters, destroys the relation. Personal treatment to impersonal matters, makes for a troublesome due. I'm just looking at what I have. (:

Gonna go now, I'll blog again soon!!!

Nothing goes the way it has to...

Hey guys, what's up? Haha, its been a busy week just keeping up with all the school stuff.

Anyway, Tuesday I had SP ACER training for the whole day. Well the DISC profiling seemed kinda dodgy but I am apparently believe it or not. Dominant. Hahaha, like what the hell. So anyway met a lot of new people and my day was pretty fun. Although it could have been better with less sun and more air conditioning but I ain't complaining. (:

Wednesday was rehearsals then making props and doing other work...quite dull. But it was good company.

TODAY. DISASTER STRUCK. MY LAPTOP LCD SCREEN CRACKED!!!! MY FAULT. ): Left my mouse in the middle of my laptop and put too much weight on it. Now my screen is smashed up and shit.
Photobucket
THE HORROR!!!
Photobucket
Eff my life. Seriously.

But on the flipside. My mum got me the minimax speakers. Damn sweet. And it sounds exactly so.

Well damn tired now...and I want to send my laptop for servicing tomorrow morning. Seems like it is going to be a rough day. Eff my life. Nights.

Fatigue can kill.

So, it has been a wild week for me. Sigh, so many things that needed to be done. Yet so little time to do them. Now I know why people need more than 24 hours a day. But it will never happen. Hahah.

Well, here are the pics of Monday - Tuesday.
Photobucket

Photobucket

Photobucket

We got stranded in Dover MRT station at about 4 am - 6.30 am playing camp games because it was pouring and the gates were not open. People gave us weird looks. Lol..

Well, after that I had about 4 hours of sleep then off to P.Arts classes. Had to rehearse for Mixed bags of Goodies. Had a nice little treat after class.
Photobucket
Costed me $4.90. Pineapple flavoured.

Then I bused home to sleep. Finally. Well, I also packed for ICE camp too. ICE camp was alright. Not great...I got sick. Meh...and I had to rush for rehearsals in between so yea.

Photobucket
Mitchell at the rehearsals on friday. Blur pic of an rather weird person. Well, at least for those few hours. hahah, he was off the hooks.

Well, then I went off to go unpack my camp stuff at home. And pack up for chalet with Jos and her debates people. Got there at about 7pm. Damn late...suppose to be there at 6pm. And everyone was drinking and talking. I felt kinda out of place at first but then after several interviews everyone seemed cool. Lol...had quite a few drinks. Hmm...whiskey on the rocks. Discovered what it referred too. Lol, simple cocktail.
Had a few wasted people by the end of the night. Had my ass kissed. Jos kissed just about all the guys there. And we had about 7 empty bottles. -.- Amazing how they drink so much. TP Debates...interesting bunch. Esp the coach. Lol.
Photobucket.

Photobucket

Lol...nice one.

Woke up at 6.30am and rushed to school. Was late by 30mins. So Ms Chang pulled to plug on all my future project due to irresponsibility. Well, I had a lack of discipline. And so that kicked of the turnaround for the week. After that the performance was a bit of a mess up. Then at Mixed Bag of Goodies I screwed up the order yet again. And well, I expect Santhiya and Kim to kill me cuz it was the longest segment. Santhiya saved it well. But I still feel like shit for it. Even the Heal the World part was a success but I just plainly felt like SHIT. Oh well, at least I started on the right chord for Heal the World. The kids were noisy as hell. Irritating.

Then I came home and got locked out of the house due to a damaged lock. So my parents called in the locksmith and fixed it. Costed $155. I officially hate this house in Bukit Panjang. The unit is a shithole. Dirty as hell, old and damaged. Totally inaccessible and damn small. Sigh, I want the new house to be done soon. I need to ge back to a home. Not a hell hole. Well, anyway...i spent most of today sleeping in it cuz I needed to catch up on sleep. Yea... not going to work tomorrow and I have a full day training on Tuesday. What a life. -.-

Lust is a powerful force.

Overnights and over rides.

If by Rudyard Kipling
If you can keep your head when all about you
Are losing theirs and blaming it on you;
If you can trust yourself when all men doubt you,
But make allowance for their doubting too:
If you can wait and not be tired by waiting,
Or, being lied about, don't deal in lies,
Or being hated don't give way to hating,
And yet don't look too good, nor talk too wise;

If you can dream---and not make dreams your master;
If you can think---and not make thoughts your aim,
If you can meet with Triumph and Disaster
And treat those two impostors just the same:.
If you can bear to hear the truth you've spoken
Twisted by knaves to make a trap for fools,
Or watch the things you gave your life to, broken,
And stoop and build'em up with worn-out tools;

If you can make one heap of all your winnings
And risk it on one turn of pitch-and-toss,
And lose, and start again at your beginnings,
And never breathe a word about your loss:
If you can force your heart and nerve and sinew
To serve your turn long after they are gone,
And so hold on when there is nothing in you
Except the Will which says to them: "Hold on!"

If you can talk with crowds and keep your virtue,
Or walk with Kings---nor lose the common touch,
If neither foes nor loving friends can hurt you,
If all men count with you, but none too much:
If you can fill the unforgiving minute
With sixty seconds' worth of distance run,
Yours is the Earth and everything that's in it,
And---which is more---you'll be a Man, my son!

This poem kinda made me think a lot about what is happening in my life. I can't get this right but then to know that you got it right and being proud of it means you got it wrong. :/ Life is confusing. Anyway, back from all the shit in school. Ice Camp is tomorrow. Nights people...(:

There are girls I would love and protect, then there are girls I would marry. Romance is so tricky and guilt doesn't make it easier. I love life. :/ Well, kinda.

CCK. -.- I'd just die.

Photobucket

Photobucket

Photobucket

AND THAT MY FRIENDS, IS HOW MY ROOM LOOKS LIKE NOW. WTH.

Well, at least I have my guitars by my side to play a few tunes but other than that, life is spartan. At least for the next 2 months or so. I swear the whole transportation thing is going to kill me. LRT then MRT then bus to get to a destination and back. Someone just stab a knife in my legs so I have an excuse not to go out. But then again, the house is a hell hole. Total death toll over the last 2 days here. 6. Who are the casualties, FRIGGIN' HUGE COCKROACHES. Oh and I just sprayed bygone on a small one then watch it squirm and turn over to die. Sigh, this is the ruts. Well, at least the air conditioning is working. Now i have to worry about getting to work. :/

Well, an update of my life. I swear never to move back to CCK unless it will prevent me from dying on the streets. On second thoughts, I'd rather die on the streets.

Friday, October 2, 2009
Lets take a walk on the side.

It has been a great week. Well, we seem to have had a new addition to our performance arts class. Pearlly. Lol, she knows how to play the guitar. Man...now I have competition. :/ I've got to keep improving from now on. I realised that I am playing more and more licks on the same scale now. Maybe I should try throwing in a note or two once in a while just to spice it up and see how it sounds. Pity I can't practise on my electric guitar anymore. Amp got packed away alrdy.

Wednesday was my rest day. Took time to slowly recuperate from the work marathon. But I went to the Pantry to take over Jos for a bit. Lol, after she left...15mins later I went home too. HAHAHAHA, but I didn't get payed for it. ):

Today I was suppose to go ice-skating with Ee Seuu, Lea, Ynex and Mark. But we reached the place at 4pm and the rink closed at 5.30pm cuz some big shot booked it for a function. And since we could only pay for 2 hour slots, we decided to just go watch Fame. It was quite alright for a movie. But the stories were rushed. The previous movies were better. WAYYYY BETTER. (: Yay for PA!

Photobucket
Lol...once again Mark. Just before he smiled.
Photobucket
COCK-A-LEEKIE soup. WHAT THE EFF!?!
Photobucket
And here we have Mark, checking out the Cock-a-leekie soup.

Seriously, whoever decided to name their product that must not be very well toilet trained. Think about it, Cock-a-leekie...what the hell la. That's friggin' pee or semen. And NO ONE WANTS THAT IN THEIR SOUP...except some pornstars who get paid for drinking it or something. But OMG seriously. Hahaha, epic joke.

Off to bed, got a long day tomorrow!

I LOVE THIS SONG. WHO SAYS. (:
