Time's reminscence.
Hey guys, finally free to do a full post I think. (:
Its 2am in the morning and I am too stubborn to sleep. Gonna go to Vaani's place with the rest of 01 for Deepavali lunch. Wonder if I need to bring anything...:/ I kinda feel like a freeloader now. Oh wells.XP
Anyway the week has been eventful. And my modules for this term seem rather interesting, or at least until the lectures start to go into full run again. ILP part 2, ISP, FBS, KYR. 4 modules that will have long dragged out lectures to expect. But ISP is looking to be rather interesting. And then there is DiE. I think a few of the new applied drama tools that Ms Wong covered is useful. But when used in a context where everyone is lighthearted and can't be bothered the strength of the tool isn't going to shine. Useful, nonetheless.
Know your rights, seems to be interesting. Although very few in the class had it as a first choice GEMs. I think CASS has the most number of applicants. 6 people...(: And we got identified rather swiftly. Geez, are we really that outstanding?? o.o...and oh yea, a good friend of mine also happened to scatter everything in my bag onto the floor. :/ AND T18 is like a hidden teaching block.(no one really notices it, at least not from CASS.)
Halloween booth opened for both Thursday and Friday. We hit the quota on thursday, but no one wanted to join on friday. So we hope that people will start signing up again on monday. *fingers crossed* I need to look for a Disk Jockey soon. For the PARTAAEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!! Great stuff, although I still don't have my costume. Hmm...means I can't teach tuition next week either. T.T My income and credibility is dropping...RAPIDLY. I wanna earn money!!! >.<
Well, went for some dinner thingy with Jerry today. (FREE FOOD!!! YAY!!!) :D But then it was quite awkward la. And I was late...rushing from service. :/ Oh well, had a good night. And there was this drink that caught our attention:
Shirley's Temple.
this is it!
Dinner was at NUSS guildhouse at Suntec. Quite a nice cosy little place. (:
Dine ALFRESCO!!!
Recently, Johanan (an aquaintence and friend from ACSBR) posted an ACS DAY article on FB. And it brought back memories of what defined us ACS boys. Not really things that would make out parents proud, such as roaring as a school when there was the clang of metal dustbin lids or childish rivalries with boys in tight white pants. I realised that those things did define ACS BR boys, even if it wasn't that great. It made us different. Although, there is one part of Nicholas Wong's article that was warpped. Girls DO NOT flock towards us at the mention of ACSBR. -.- Him and his PL girl. Lol....what the hell. Ah, all the nostalgia. Classrooms were kinda like a playground then. With kids either up to no good, kids being no good or kids just watching. But somehow a bit of it has been loss in the new batch. Peesh. ):
Addicted to this song:
An old project I have embarked on~~
Verse 1: I'd surrender my heart again to you. give you all I have in a song of worship I walk again, to follow you; Make my heart clean and new.
verse 2
I give my life to know your love, chose to honour you above all. Longing to feel your presence here; Calling out even when you're near.
Pre-Chorus:
Bring back the light of hope. Bring back my song of joy. Chorus: Christ, we call to you. Jesus, give us life. All I want is you, Bring back the heart of worship.
Bridge: Nothing shall take you away, you bring back the love I have.
That should do it for the night. I now need to figure out a melody line and a permanent time signature for that song. (: Nights people!
