Rest before the world comes crashing.

Today has been rewarding with some R&R. I finally get to rest after all the mayhem from the past few days. Sigh...

I need to rethink my goals. As for Drama modules and Cs for Psyche modules will get me nowhere. And I still have my Grade 8 examination coming up for PFA. I need to think about what I want to really get done.

Anyway, enough about work. Here is some chill out music for ya'll, I think he is awesome.

Cheers yo. I need to rest more. Nights.

Prep Camp - Success

YAY, so the prep camp for FOC has been a success thanks to everyone's efforts.

After prep camp stuff was over, I went home and then headed down to Orchard to try and catch Alice. CMI. So I ended up wandering around orchard central and 313 with Jerry.

Guess where!

The rooftop garden...nice view eh?

It took us 15 mins to get up via escalator and 2 mins to get down via elevator. Lol...after that I send Jerry off, passed Chem notes to Rachel, saw Evan and went for dinner alone at ION Orchard's Soup Spoon. Cheers!

I am goign to finish my PFA Grade 8!!!! ASAP!!! And I can do it! (:

My mood ain't right today. I am a walking timebomb. Leave me alone. Give me space.

God Rests in Reason

I love this song

you were born together
and together ye shall be forever
until death could scatter
shouldn't matter in the memory of god above
let the wind of heaven dance between you too
allowing tiem and space to bring you closer to everlasting love
so what should you do if god moves through you

when love beckons
its ways are often hard and steep
and his wings unfold
ye yield to all that it speaks
though a sword it might be hidden there among the pinions
oh you may wear a wound that truly spoke to you
believe in all that voice and follow through
so what should you do when god moves through you

love possesses nothing
nor would it ever be possessed
love is love sufficient unto love
and you can figure out the rest

god rests in reason
so what should you do, oh oh
when god moves through you

well your children will not be your children
maybe the daughter, the son of a beginning
they'll come through your womb but not be coming from you
they will be with you, but they do not belong to you
you can give them your love but not your thoughts
cause they'll arrive with their own hearts
they're the coming of angels this blessed season
and then they'll sing oh yea god rests in reason
god rests in reason
so what should you do
when god moves through you

and think not you can direct the course of
love itself directs the course of love
believe not god is in your heart, child
but rather you're in the heart of god

so you see so far i'm all right
pleasant and awkwardly polite
watching carefully the comedy
the tick tock moments of the grid lock day
and why i'm singing
about the fact that i'm giving up everything
and giving back to the people that made me want to change
my evil, lazy ways
i'm gonna give you one more phrase to explain

see i believe in only one thing
i believe in good orderly d-i-r-e-c-t-i-o-n
i'll spell it again, roll it with abbreviation
easy as a 1,2,3
spell it backwards it's a d-o-g
cause it's a dog eat dog world
what a life girl, maybe you should make you my wife girl
and i believe in omni possibility
it's nothing more than good orderly direction
nothing more than good orderly direction
nothing more than good orderly direction
this is nothing more than good orderly direction
so what should you do when god moves through you
what should you do when god moves
through you

(: I am a grateful soul this fine evening.

GYL Camp & Fun O Rama.

WAZZUP PEOPLE!!!!! Hahahaa, I'm back from Camp. (: And it was pretty awesome.

My team was Group 5 a.k.a WAZZUP. And we went everywhere saying WAZZUP! It was great fun with them. And I felt that we may have been the most persistant group and the one that made the most of our own mistakes. And although we made mistakes, I have a great sense of satisfaction from learning in the group. We had Jungle treking, Raft building and High ropes. I don't have photos from High ropes cuz no one was taking pictures. Although there should be a video of me screaming my pants off on the flying fox...XD Courtesy of Steph. Well, here are the photos.

Me & Nan. At the mall.

For me, the camp itself was fulfilling. Although there were several instances of retardation. Like, we sang Rasa Sayange after the kids prayer cuz the lectures thought it was a song. -.- Hahaha, but it felt like a dream world. Away from the city. The monetary value there is so small, you learn to be contented with a lot of things. And the whole landscape is so scenic and nice I think it would be a pity if they industralize the forests. And through the camp, I felt that maybe I was too selfish and grabbed too much attention to myself. :/ It feels wrong on my part as a leader. I don't know. Hahaha, but I bonded pretty well with the CASS people during the camp, esp the DMC 04 and 01 people. And playing games with the DADP peeps rocked! XD The crazy things we do...

When we got back, I had dinner with quite a number of people from the camp and we played werewolf at the rooftop. And a mini round of SSM. Scene kids. Lol.

Well, I woke up at 1pm yesterday and went for Fun O Rama with my brother. He seemed to have a lot of fun. Burnt $40 worth of coupons and I got myself a nice ACJC shirt. MY FIRST S SIZE SHIRT SINCE I WAS 10!!!! OMG. Breakthrough! XD

Was fun seeing the AC people again. XD A lot of barker boys. And Alex Lee said I look Zen. -.- What the....lolcakes.

got a lot to do and not enough time to do it! I guess most of the world is that way. Time to go pack my room and wash up my rabbit, cookie. (: Ciaoz. More photos on FB and stuff. XD

Off and away...

Hey guys, what's up! (: I am leaving for Batam tomorrow, so I figured I'll take a quick update today while I am preparing for my trip.

My event on Saturday was quite watered down by the rain. The UNIFEM event was very lethargic and hard to keep the energy level up. We had some pretty good bands like Ashdown, Run Neon Tiger, Fastforward to Friday and the debut of Outcome of the Party. Some pics:
Photobucket

Photobucket
Run Neon Tiger...might have an appearance in Baybeats. (:
Photobucket

Photobucket
Outcome of the Party, I think the lead singer was quite good.

It was my first out of school event. I would say I did quite badly cuz I didn't have any support and I was super nervous. But I will not let anyone put me down *ahem* just cuz they are affiliated to the organizers *ahem*. (: But I feel quite good, at least I made a new contact for sound systems and got some great music. Hmm...wonder abt payment...oh well, that's secondary.

On Sunday I went to church...I felt holier than thou. XD Kidding, I realised how powerful applied theatre really is. That coupled with the constant message that obedience is good, leads to a pretty potent formula for a religion where people genuinely believe that they are part of a greater cause.Well, at least with CHC, even such mindlessness is in a good light as long as the right values are imparted. I'll give the church credit for mastering the use of applied theatre over the 18th Century of a Romantic ideal and the last 20th Century with the modernistic viewpoint. However, I am not convinced, as a post-modernist, that the church is fully relevant to the world today. Its still the church against secular culture...:/ Shouldn't be.

Today we had Gen-Y Leadership camp briefing...-.- Awkward and boring.
Then FOC meeting...plus clean up.

NOW I NEED TO PACK MY BAG FOR GEN-Y. THANKS FOR GIVING US THE PACK LIST A DAY BEFORE CAMP. OMG.

Here is a tune to end on a good note. (: I love bittersweet lyrics.

Sometimes the best is not that far away after all. Treasure what you have and love the little things around you.

DANCE @ Studio 19

these are just highlights. And the pictures are taken from http://www.facebook.com/theSPXperience. And there are more great stuff there. And if you are a Secondary 4 student or just think that it looked like a fun event, do just join as a fan and chat with some of the people. Everyone is friendly and no one gonna be judgemental. So just feel free to join in. (:

So after doing all that, my personal experience during SPX has been pretty amazing. Met new people, learnt a few new things. And I finally understand what it is to be an extroverted introvert in perspective. Hahaha, and the new found friendships made through this experience are pretty awesome so far. So kudos to that. Although there were hiccups here and there, I have no complains about the program so far. Hahah, and getting spammed on FB by IJ people are always fun, eh? :P

So anyway, thursday was quite uneventful. Spent a day out and just enjoyed the time spent to enforce a relationship that is quite distant.

Today, WAS SUPPOSED TO WATCH ALICE IN WONDERLAND. But the CATHAY dude sold me and Jerry, Saturday tickets on FRIDAY. AT STUDENT PRICE. I have no idea how he could get so many things wrong. Is there even Student Price on Saturday?!...WTF. So instead, we settled for Remember me. Starring, who else but ROBERT PATTINSON.
remember me.. Pictures, Images and Photos
But it was okay for the acting side...just the cast. :/
The girl had MAN arms. OMG...veining summore. Hahaa, there is sympathy sex, anger sex, drunk sex....a whole load of sex in the movie. Making me think if the director is mentally sound. I mean, you got to film that shit with Robert Pattinson half naked around. XD Sounds like a lot of fun.

Got an event tomorrow with UNIFEM. I feel prepared yet unprepared.

Gotta memorize the 4 campaigns.
1. Day Off Campaign
2. STOP Sex Trafficking Campaign
3. Help ANNA Campaign
4. Stop Child Sex Campaign

Hoo RAH! I CAN DO THIS!
